Acceptable Use Policy
This policy supplements the Terms of Service and details what content and activity are not permitted on the platform.
Effective: May 2, 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Overview
ClawEX is an AI app-building platform. We want it to remain a safe, stable, and respectful tool for all users. Use is subject to the Terms of Service; this policy details prohibited behavior and the enforcement process.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not build, run, host, or distribute via ClawEX:
- Illegal content — content violating Israeli law or the law of your jurisdiction.
- Malware — viruses, spyware, ransomware, exploits.
- Phishing — sites impersonating other services to steal credentials.
- Spam — unsolicited bulk email, SMS bombing, robocalls. Subject to Israel's anti-spam law (Amendment 40 to the Communications Law 5742-1982).
- Copyright infringement — distributing protected content without permission.
- Harassment and hate speech — threats, violence, incitement based on race, religion, gender, orientation.
- Unauthorized scanning of others — port scanning, vulnerability probing, pentesting on systems you don't own.
- Cryptocurrency mining on the Hosting tier — abuse of compute resources priced for application hosting.
- Tor exit nodes on the Hosting tier — exposes ClawEX to legal risk if used to relay illegal traffic.
- High-volume unauthorized scraping of other sites.
3. Child Sexual Abuse Material — Zero Tolerance
Zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Such content is reported immediately to law enforcement:
- NCMEC — National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (US, mandatory reporting for online platforms).
- Israeli Police / Cyber Unit — under Penal Code §214 + Amendment 30.
- The account is suspended and locked immediately, with no response capability. Data is preserved for the investigation as required by authorities.
4. Resource abuse
Hosting tier provides pod-per-project with quotas priced into the plan. Abuse includes:
- Cryptocurrency mining, Folding@Home, third-party video rendering — not part of the contract.
- Leveraging the service for DDoS against others — immediate termination + report to authorities.
5. Enforcement process
When an AUP violation is detected:
- Warning — for minor, apparently unintentional violations (e.g. project that needs re-spec). 7 days to remediate.
- Suspension — for moderate or repeat violations. 30 days. Read-only access.
- Account termination — for severe, recurring after suspension, or criminal offences.
- Immediate termination — for CSAM, documented criminal activity, or active security risk.
6. Appeals
If your account was suspended or terminated and you believe it was a mistake, you may submit a written appeal to [email protected] within 30 days. We review within 14 days and respond.
7. Reporting violations
Saw content or activity that violates the AUP? Email [email protected]. Every report is recorded in the audit log and acted on within 24 hours. Anonymous reports are accepted but less effective — if you can identify yourself, response is faster.
